Richard Lanis
After a role in public accounting and management roles in the financial services industry, Rich began his consulting career with objective of applying my knowledge and expertise across industries, while in turn gaining access and exposure to new opportunities.
Starting with small clients in retail, Rich grew to providing project services to fortune 500 companies. In coordination with other firms, he has assisted in implementing new financial systems, created international payment structures, implemented performance improvement actions and developed complex financial plans.
In 2014, Rich took on the role of CFO at an independent not-for-profit skilled nursing facility. After completing a successful re-positioning construction project and bond issuance, the facility successfully combined forces with a larger organization.
Rich is a registered CPA with an B.S. in accounting from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Julie Boggess
Julie is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with 30 years of experience in the Senior Housing and Healthcare Industry. Starting as a social worker on the front line of operations, Julie advanced to positions that include Director, Assistant Administrator, Executive Director, and finally Chief Executive Officer of a not for profit nursing and rehab center in Chicago.
Versed in nursing home regulation and operations, Julie has also worked with Board of Directors to develop strategic plans, a donor development program, and a merger with another not for profit organization. Serving on the Board of Directors for LeadingAge Illinois and Chair of the Nursing Facilities cabinet, Julie has been an advocate in the industry for policies that impact the industry. Julie is currently an Instructor in Gerontology at Northern Illinois University, and has served on Aging Services Leadership Advisory Committees at Wilbur Wright College and NIU.
